Through both professional and personal experience, I know finding a therapist who feels in tune with your needs can be a difficult task. Whether you are seeking out therapy to navigate everyday stressors, process a traumatic event, or have a hand in becoming the best version of yourself, it is necessary to find a space where you feel safe, respected, and heard. I strive to create a space that encompasses all of these qualities using my 4+ years of clinical experience in various treatment settings, and work collaboratively with each client to find what approach fits their needs the best.
My lifelong interest in helping people led to me getting my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and becoming a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania in 2023. I am now actively working towards my clinical licensure. Throughout my educational and professional career, I’ve developed an approach to working with clients that works towards creating a space for you to be vulnerable and authentic. I believe each client is the expert of their own life, and my role is to help empower you.
In my work with clients, I pull from various theoretical perspectives, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. I have experience working with men, women, and gender non-conforming clients of all ages (anywhere from 4 years old to 70 years old), along with folks in the LGBTQ+ community. I specialize in working with clients navigating unique challenges related to codependency, domestic violence, self-esteem and body image, addiction, mood regulation, anxiety, PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. It is so easy to feel out of control in so many aspects of our lives, but in our sessions, you would be driving the bus.
“How much we know ourselves is extremely important, but how we treat ourselves is the most important.”―Brené Brown, The Power of Vulnerability
